“Major company” hiring programmer for “super famous robot game for PS4 (PS5) and PC”
A “major company” that says it is a five-minute walk from Tamachi Station in Minato, Tokyo has posted a job listing in search of an Unreal Engine 4 programmer to work on a “super famous robot game for PS4 (PS5) and PC.”
According to Google Maps, Bandai Namco Entertainment is a five-minute walk from Tamachi Station, so the “super famous robot game” in reference may be a new Gundam game.
It is also worth noting that this job listing bears many similarities to a job listing from August seeking a programmer to work on an Unreal Engine 4-based “robot anime” game for PlayStation 4 and PC. The only differences this time are the mention of PlayStation 5, suggesting it has since become a cross-generation title, and the nearest station listing as Tamachi Station, whereas the August job listing used Sengakuji Station. That said, Bandai Namco Entertainment is nearly equal walking distance from both Tamachi Station and Sengakuji Station.
